The Greedy Woman

Once upon a time, there lived a greedy wife. She was a widowed woman. She live in a village named Lavender Falls. It had a falls beautiful as gold. Many people use to say that inside this falls there is a treasure. 

One day, as the greedy wife passed by two merchants , she heard them speaking. The merchant who name was Julius said, "I heard that inside the falls deep in the cave, there is a treasure." The ears of the greedy woman pricked up when she heard this. She thought "Ha ha ha, I am going to be rich." 

Excited and thrilled she went home. The next day, she packed bags and was ready to go to the falls. She had got ropes, pastries, water, spade and torch. She climbed mountains after mountains and then finally she reached the cave.

She got excited and went in. She got scratched by insects and bit by non-venomous snakes. But still she didn't stop. Finally she reached the spot. She digs and digs but she didn't find any treasure. Suddenly there came a ghost. She got scared and hid back of a rock, but the ghost said, "Don't get scared woman." 

She came back to the spot where she was standing. The ghost said, "O, greedy woman I am afraid there is no treasure in the cave." The greedy woman felt astonished but the ghost continued to speak, "It is just a folk tale. People say it because the falls is so beautiful. The falls itself is the treasure!" 

She went back to the entrance with ghost following her and looked out. She felt so amazed. The falls was truly beautiful. The woman thought, "I was so busy finding the treasure that I was not aware that the falls is so beautiful." The greedy woman felt ashamed and went home to have a nice deep sleep.
