SONGLESS
We are two boats
Tethered together on a stormy sea
We think this rain is love
But this thunder is only meant
To shatter the heaven
Above us.
The clouds will clear
Two suns will rise
On either horizons
Yet we cannot set sail
Towards the light
The chains of our love bind us
Into monstrous grasps
Of twisted heartlines.
We struggle
And tug at
This Agony
A dark night lies
Between us
And ahead
Oh
What a wonderful light!
So let there be only
Gasps of pain now
Lest we should succumb
To the screams that left us
Songless.
